Four times a year the Navy distributes updated maintenance procedure documents, called a Force Revision. Since not every ship and shore station in the Navy is the same, they each must review all of the documents to determine which changes apply to their unique situation. We’re talking thousands of documents. Our analysts do the heavy lifting and review equipment records from SKED. They use their years of Navy maintenance experience to personalize the PMS data and make recommendations for maintenance documents that should be added, changed, or deleted. What’s delivered is a “tailored” package for the 3M Coordinator to review and approve, saving hours of time and decreasing the administrative burden of Sailors.
